One Year Pictures

Yes, it is hard to believe that Delanie is almost one year old. We went to South Dakota and grandma and grandpa helped me with her. It is a lot of work to get a little girl dressed, fed, and kept happy! Besides that she wasn't feeling the greatest but I think we got a few good ones.

Little Red Sled

WOW! The weather yesterday was fantastic. I went for a walk with our family dog and then decided to go pick up Delanie from daycare but I had a special treat for her! Grandma and grandpa M got her a red sled for Christmas! I bundled up the baby and we sledded home. She absolutely love it! She sat so nice and laughed and giggled all the way home.

Cornhusker Girl

My husband isn't real excited about his daughter wearing this outfit. Personally, I LOVE IT! I enjoyed going to college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I learned a ton, Lincoln is a great city, my dad was born there, and my dad and uncle are serious fans of the football team.

K-T

We went to the doctor last Friday and he said that things look good but we are going to have another laser treatment on March 5. She will be 13 months old at that time. I really hope that by the time she is 3 we are done with these treatments. However, when the doctor was examining her, he noticed a purple spot behind her knee. It could possibly be a vein starting to develop. That is what scares me the most. I am hoping that we don't have to worry about veins getting large!

Christmas

Christmas was fantastic at our house. Christmas Eve and Day it was just the three of us and then on the 26th grandma D and the boys came and then on New Years, grandma and pa M arrived. The little princess was so excited to finally be able to rip paper without hearing the famous word "NO". I think her favorite present was the pink rocking horse. Grandpa named him "Pinkie". She also got a pink cowgirl hat and boots. She's not sure about the hat but she sure looks cute! Anyway, she would hug the horse and crawl over to it, stand up and pat it and giggle. I never knew that Christmas would be so wonderful until I had my little girl. I mean as a child I thought that Christmas was the best but as an adult it tends to lose a little of its excitment.....that is until you have a child.
